Blerta Lipo

Blerta Lipo got her PhD in Civil Engineering at the Univeristy Roma Tre, with a research period at the University of Cambridge, under the joint supervision of prof. Gianmarco de Felice and prof. Matthew DeJong. During her PhD she worked at the formulation and implementation of a model for the out-of-plane analyses of masonry walls rocking on elastic foundation. After the PhD she had the opportunity to work in Paris as maitre assistant associe at ENSA Paris Malaquais.
Blerta got her BSc and MSc degree in Civil Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome.
She is currently working in Florence for RFI – Italian Railways Association dealing with safety checking of existing railways bridges.
