Sara Fares

Sara Fares is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Engineering of Roma Tre University, in Rome (Italy). Born in 1991, she got her MSc in 2019 and her PhD in Civil Engineering in 2023 at Roma Tre University. Experimental researcher in structural rehabilitation and structural safety assessment; seismic assessment and retrofit of masonry structures with externally bonded mortar-based composites (FRCM/TRM); laboratory testing of traditional and innovative materials; digital image correlation for the measurement of displacements and strains in laboratory tests; analytical modelling of masonry constructions reinforced with mortar-based composites; development of rules for the design of masonry structures retrofitted with FRCM/TRM.
